The Reformer Training module combines well over 120 exercises and variations in a complete training course. Students learn cueing, choreography, module development, business presentation skills, and the basics of how to operate a studio. Students will develop a full understanding of the Reformer and how to adapt any exercise to any client. There is an emphasis on teaching well and “thinking on your feet.”
Pre-requisites:
Students must have completed mat training. Exceptions can be made if the student has a h4 personal training background.
Requirements for certification:
40 hours of observation, 40 hours of self-practice (20 during classroom training period), 40 hours of practice teaching (15 hours during classroom training period).
Exam:
The exam is part of the tuition costs and is scheduled for approximately eight weeks after the last classroom session. If the student fails, they may retest at a later date for a nominal fee.
Materials:
All materials are included in the cost of the class. Students are required to purchase their own “Trail Guide to the Body” text book prior to the commencement of class.
Cost:
The cost is $1,199 and includes all course materials and exam fee. Students are expected to purchase “Trail Guide to the Body” text book prior to commencement of the class.
